The intent of Title I is for all children to become proficient in the State’s academic achievement standards and to provide supplement supports for those students that are struggling to meet the State’s standards. Afterschool programming can be an important component of helping students academically and closing the achievement gaps in school. In a Schoolwide Title I school, an afterschool program may be offered for all enrolled students. Please fill out application below.
Monday – Thursday, 2:30pm – 3:30pm
The Southgate Academy Gator Care Program is for 5 & 6 year old students. Our Program provides a safe, secure environment for the students of Southgate. Our program allows time for your student(s) to do their homework, as well as a snack time (provided by us), physical activity time, and educationally based activities
Monday – Thursday, 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Friday, 11:15 am - 4:30pm
Southgate will be paying for the tuition and providing registered students transportation to the Boys and Girls Club following the Title I afterschool program. Parents are responsible for picking up their student(s) at the Boys and Girls Club facility. Detailed information regarding the program offered by the Boys and Girls Club and registration instructions are attached.
